About Wellness 101
It is time to get back to the basics! Why do you really need to exercise? What exactly is yoga? Spin classes are for athletes only, right? The answers to these and many other questions will be answered in our Wellness 101 Workshop Series. Starting in September, each month you will have the opportunity to get into the “classroom” and learn how health and fitness can fit into your life. Each class will focus on a different wellness topic and break it down to its simplest terms. Information will be presented, examples will be given, demonstrations will be performed, and you will be able to try new things in a comfortable, learning atmosphere. About this workshop, Intro to Yoga
In this workshop, participants will learn the practices of yoga which are designed to integrate mind, body and soul with the purpose of achieving a higher level of total awareness and strength. This class will teach you everything you need to know about yoga and what you need to do to get started. You will learn some basic poses and terminology, as well as the differences between the various types of yoga.
